Frequently asked questions

How do I track my order?

Open the ZOPP app, go to My Orders, and select your active order. Once a driver is assigned you can follow the delivery live on the map and see status updates from preparation to arrival at your door.

What can I buy on ZOPP?

ZOPP is a multi-category marketplace for Addis Abeba. You can shop groceries, electronics, pharmacy items, restaurant meals, auto parts, construction materials, and more — from local markets, shops, and producers, all in one cart.

How do I pay, and which methods are accepted?

You can pay by card and mobile money through our secure payment partner (Chapa), or choose cash on delivery where available. Prices and totals are shown in Ethiopian Birr (ETB). ZOPP does not store your full card number — card payments are processed on Chapa's secure checkout.

What are the delivery options and times?

ZOPP offers Express (fastest), Standard (same-day), and Scheduled delivery (you pick a time). Available options and estimated times depend on the vendor and your location, and are shown at checkout.

How do I change or add a delivery address?

Go to Profile → Addresses in the app to add, edit, or remove a saved address. You can also pin your exact location on the map for accurate delivery.

How do I cancel an order or request a refund?

You can request a cancellation from My Orders while the order is still eligible. For refund questions or disputes, contact us at support@zopp.app with your order number and we'll review it.

Why do some products ask me to verify my age?

Age-restricted products (such as alcohol) require you to be 18 or older. You'll be asked to verify your age, which may include providing your date of birth and a valid ID, before you can purchase these items.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account directly in the app: go to Profile → Delete Account and follow the steps. Your profile, addresses, saved payment methods, preferences, and reviews are anonymized, and you'll be signed out. Deletion may be blocked if you have an active order, a wallet balance, or funds held in escrow — resolve those first. See our Privacy Policy for details on data deletion and retention.

Which languages does ZOPP support?

The app is available in English and Amharic, with additional Ethiopian languages in progress.

I didn't receive my SMS verification code.

Codes are sent by SMS to Ethiopian (+251) numbers. Check your signal, wait a moment, then use Resend. If it still doesn't arrive, contact support@zopp.app with the phone number you're trying to use.
